Renewing a Christmas tradition, Pastor John McCaw of Medina First Baptist Church welcomed Medina Sunrise Rotary, Medina Breakfast Kiwanis, and their community partners - Medina Creative Housing, Jaguza Children Ministries, and the US Air Force to a Christmas Celebration at Medina Christian Academy.
A holiday buffet breakfast was followed by the talented MCA students performing piano instrumentals and choral arrangements that illuminated the true meaning of Christmas. It was a morning filled with sharing the fellowship of service, the joy of children singing traditional Christmas music, and visions of times to be spent with loved ones at Christmas.
"Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' arrival to save all who will believe," said Pastor John, citing Matthew 1:21 in his closing blessing. "Angels proclaimed Him, wise men worshiped Him, and shepherds bowed the knee to this Babe who came to save."
