"You don't have to be a superhero to save a life," said Captain Steve Ingersol, Medina Fire Department* Education Officer.

Speaking to Medina Sunrise Rotarians at Medina Fire Station #1, Captain Ingersol provided a livesaving instructional overview, which included: fire suppression and safety, CPR and proper AED use, epipens and Narcan nasal spray administration, and the ABC's of what to do in an emergency once 9-1-1 has been dialed.

Captain Ingersol closed with the following encouragement: "CPR and AED training has proven to save lives. In an emergency, act in good faith, remember your training, and do it to the best of your ability, and you too can become a life saver!"
