Surrounded by his family and friends, retired U.S. Airman and Korean War Veteran Phil Jaworski celebrated his 90th birthday this June 14th. The special day held a triple blessing for Phil, as it was also the 245th Anniversary of the U.S. Army and National Flag Day.

Phil's 90th birthday celebration, organized by Ed Zackery, Executive Director of Medina County Veterans Services, included U.S. Military Chaplain Colonel Reid Miller, Air Force Tech Sergeant Cody Hoffman and an Honor Ride-by and Presentation from Rolling Thunder.

"Happy Birthday, Phil and thank you for your service!" proclaimed Tech Sergeant Cody Hoffman. "Airman Phil Jaworski's military service represents the Air Force's legacy of strength, foresight, and astonishing technological achievements. From early on, the U.S. Air Force has played a major role in our nation's security and, with the contributions of Aviators like Phil Jaworski, we will carry that legacy into the future" said Sergeant Hoffman.
