MEDINA COUNTY SERVICE CLUBS
GOOD FRIDAY PRAYER BREAKFAST

Medina County Service Clubs gathered this morning at Williams on the Lake for the Good Friday Prayer Breakfast. Continuing this beloved community tradition was hosting Medina Breakfast Kiwanis and invited clubs: Medina Sunrise Rotary, Brunswick Rotary, Knights of Columbus, Odd Fellows Lodge, optimist Club of Brunswick, Brunswick Kiwanis, Medina Noon Kiwanis, Cloverleaf Area Kiwanis, VFW Post #5137, Chippewa Lake Lions and Rolling Thunder #8.

Following John Burke’s musical accompaniment on the piano and a warm welcome from President Ed Selega from Medina Breakfast Kiwanis, Ray Fain led us in the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.

First Baptist Medina Worship Arts Pastor Andrew Standley provided us with the Good Friday spiritual message from 1Corinthians: 15, about selflessly serving others, as Jesus Christ has shown us, in body and spirit. It emphasizes Christ's ministry of service.  It reminds us that His resurrection is central to the Christian faith and assures believers of their own future resurrection.

Roy Lehman’s closing prayer was a thoughtful thank you to all who model serving others as a Christian act of Faith and Love during this Holy Season of Easter.
