Medina Sunrise Rotarians gathered beneath the Burr Oak tree on the southwest side of Medina Public Square to celebrate 30 years of 'Service Above Self' to our community and beyond. The tree, which came from the Chicago home of Rotary founder Paul Harris, was planted in 1994 when Medina Sunrise was formed.

Since 1994, Medina Sunrise Rotary has donated over $1.5 million dollars in grants to the Medina community, supporting over twenty charities, Rotary Youth Exchange, and college & vocational scholarships while performing multiple service projects each year.

Medina Sunrise Rotary (MSR) is a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit service organization with low administration costs. Our diligent stewardship ensures our grants have a meaningful impact. This year, with our community’s support, Medina Sunrise Rotary made a $100,000 Major Gift commitment to help Akron Children’s Hospital expand its presence in Medina County.

Help us continue to make a difference in the lives of children in Medina County and beyond by making a tax-deductible donation‬ to Medina Sunrise Rotary’s 501(c)(3) Donor Advised Fund with The Rotary Foundation.
