MEDINA SUNRISE ROTARY WELCOMES ROTARY DISTRICT GOVERNOR DAVID JONES & FIRST LADY GEORGEANN

Rotary District 6630 Governor David Jones and his gracious wife Georgeann visited Medina Sunrise Rotary at the Pride One Construction Community Room. There, the District Governor and First Lady received a warm welcome from Past Rotary 6630 District Governor Dr. Mike and Judy Davanzo, Assistant Governor Dr. Shail Jain, club president Kevin Lauterjung, Ohio Army National Guard Staff Sergeant Jeff Cain, Rotary Youth Exchange Student (Medina to Columbia) Dustin Haffner, and a packed house of enthusiastic Rotarians.

David, who is a proud Military Brat with an extensive international education, built a successful career as a school superintendent and university professor. He is excited to work with all of the Rotary clubs and Rotarians of the District on Club Membership, Community Service, Foundation Support and strengthening the connections between Rotary, Interact and Rotaract clubs. David stated, “I am excited to be a part of an extremely talented leadership team and will continue the proud tradition of those who put “Service Above Self."

David concluded his presentation, reminding us of RI President Jennifer Jones' 2022-2023 theme, "Imagine Rotary Fulfilling Big Dreams."
